On Sunday 8th March, the Mary Rose Museum is hosting a yoga morning. The class will take place overlooking the shipwreck (as pictured above), which certainly makes for a unique and impressive venue!
It will be taught at beginner-intermediate level by professional instructor Amanda Gartrell, and the ticket (£25) will include a light breakfast on the VIP balcony, followed by access to the rest of the museum.
Our first ever Yoga in the Museum session will take place on Sunday 8th March, join Amanda Gartrell, Professional Yoga Instructor, for this unforgettable and enlightening experience.
Your session will begin at 9:15am, taking place next to the world’s only surviving Tudor Warship.
Amanda will take attendees through a workshop, expertly taught to draw out your inner yogi. Throughout the workshop mood lighting will highlight the ship, and gentle music will help ease you into a peaceful, calming and relaxed vibe. Wow, what an unforgettable experience and a celebration of the ‘first lady of the seas’ Mary Rose!
After the session you will be welcomed to the Wardroom and VIP balcony, which gives stunning views across the harbour. Here you can enjoy a light breakfast of herbal teas, fruit juice and mini pastries as you take in the sights.
You are welcome to explore the museum at your leisure, and will receive 10% off in our shop and cafe.
The museum is a really fantastic place to visit, and is a great way to start International Women’s Day.
